Los Suruba are proud to present the first release of a brand new series of releases inside the main Label which will be named Suruba Unlimited Series (SUS) and will consist in digital and unlimited releases that will have the same quality as their vynil counterparts but due to the amount of demos we receive and the inability to edit all of them them in vynil format they will be released in digital format.

For the first reference we count on one of the Englishmen who we have been supporting the most in our Label; young Kanio.

After some time in the music industry under various aliases, Kanio smashed his way on to the underground dance music scene in late 2007 with a string of chart topping productions.

Widely regarded as the largest download site worldwide, Kanio’s productions have regularly featured in the charts on Beatport. In little more than a year he achieved a massive 5 top ten’s and a further 7 top 20's, cementing his position on the worldwide scene, and becoming nominated for best minimal artist at the Beatport music awards 2009. Off the back of this swift rise, September 2008 saw the launch of his Novakane imprint, already swiftly following suit in terms of sales success.
Besides Novakane, Kanio has signed tracks, and had remixes commissioned to labels such as Traum, Suruba, Yellow Tail, Autist, Stereo Seven Plus, and Italo Business.

In this release, contrasting with his well known “minimal style”, Kanio evolves and developes a Deep and powerful purely Tech House style

On the other hand side, we can find in this release a great remix from the track Back Doubles by Dutchman E-Contact from labels like Area Remote, Suruba and Stock5, also know as the 50% of the duo Gimmik with Daniel Sanchez.

To complete the release a remix by Spanish Duo Los Suruba can be found, giving their point of view of the track Goose Chase.

We are proud to present a new member of the Suruba family: UNER.
One of the revelation artists of the moment is to sign the reference number 21 of Suruba Digital.

Used to live among recording studios and stages UNER shows up the best way possible in the electronic scene.

He enters the market with a first release edited by one of the most played, celebrated and influential german labels at the moment: Diynamic. Other names have released in such house i.e. Solomun, Stimming or H.O.S.H. becoming big in the club scene.

“Baby Raw EP” is his first work on this label having been played by artists as big as Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Ame, Dennis Ferrer, Matthew Dear, Lazarus and 2000 and One to name a few. It has also been charted by artists as big as Cassius!

With a background fully submerged in the world of production mistery surrounds this name which sails among organic sounds, totally modernized classic rythms and his love for classical music which has given him all the professional formation he has. The ways to program the beat, the percussions, the bass or the vocal samples is not left to chance but it is well calculated to perform in the sound systems of the best clubs around the world.

To complete this incredible release that has had good feedback and charted from artists such as Steve Lawler, Audiojack, Solomun, Jimpster, Gorge, Tim Green (TG), Alex Nigrermann or Marc Poppcke; we find two great remixes by italian Elia and the new sign of Suruba Digital, dutchman ONNO (Upon You).

After the great welcome for the first reference of the label, we are proud to present a second work as personal and full of quality as the first one, in this case by Dutch artist Minz.

Michel Sánchez-Infante better known as Minz, is a pure Dutch though he lived in Móstoles for a few months when he was a child, out of that comes the name of the ep.
Minz felt attracted by electronic music at the beginning of the 90s, but it was not until 2006 that he began to produce. Only a year after he published his “Un/Mute EP” at Perspectiv label, owned by Ripperton, and after this release another musical gem was released in this label, his “Jade EP”.

He quickly called the attention of labels such as Connaiseur and Meerestief where, with his releases, imprinted his quality and production level with a marked tech-house style.

In addition less than one month ago, he released his first remix at Suruba, which served him as a presentation letter in our family, with his own interpretation of the original song by Spektre feat. Chelonis R. Jones “The Ride/ SURUBA014”.

Here comes reference number 20 of the Label in the month of the second anniversary of the label, this time by young Elia, the italian closest to the Suruba family.

Elia Perazzini is an emerging artist from Cesenatico, in the east of Italy. At the age of 15, Elia is fully dedicated to producing electro music, then he started djing and performing live sets of techno minimal waves.

His sound is very aggressive and a bit experimental, he thinks that “music is the way to reproduce his emotions and sensations”.

by the time, Elia knows the satisfaction of a 4/4 beat, and he wants that this will be his way of life!

He worked for labels like Suruba, 303Lovers, Splitsound, Autist Records, Logical Music, Franz Franz,Suruba Digital, Italo Business...

Some of his tracks were in the top 10 of the most important charts like Beatport or Decks Records.

Los Suruba present reference number 14 of their Label, with Spektre feat. Chelonis R. Jones's great track “The Ride” which obtained support and recognition from artists such as Steve Lawler, Karotte, Dubfire, Stephan Bodzin, Mark Broom, Butch, Audiojack, Tom Stephan, etc...

This reference counts as well with the remixes of three new artists in the label (Kreon, Gorge, Minz) and an extra remix by the label capos: Los Suruba.

The first of the new members of the Suruba family is greek-born Mark Spanoudakis, better know as Kreon. This young helenic has left his imprint in labels such as Resopal, Cécille, Freerange, Be Chosen, Welcome to Masomenos, etc. Production partner of also greek Lemos, he took off with his famouth “Jack EP” which he produced on his own in own of most fashionable labels nowadays: Cécille.

The second remix was crafted by one of the artists of the moment, the german Gorge. Owner of 8Bit Records along with his friend Nick Curly. He has edited in Systematic, Freerange, Yellow Tail, Plastic City, Murmur... and he is also the host of the famous “Plastic City Radio Show” along with his friend Greg Silver in Ibiza Sónica.

Next in the list is dutch Minz. After his debut in 2007 in Perspectiv Records with his “Un/Mute EP”, he made clear that his style is an elaborated and deep Tech House. Publishing another release at Ripperton's Label, he was soon requested for labels such as Connaisseur or Meerestief.

To close this great release we have the remix of the Label's chieftains, Los Suruba. Having published their first release at the beginning of 2007, in addition to managing the Suruba family (Suruba Records, Suruba X y Suruba Digital) they've had time to remix artists such as Tigerskin, Moonbeam, Spektre, Ludovic Vendi, Chelonis R. Jones o Audioma.

Los Suruba sign reference number 13 of their own label, which counts with the remixes of four artists of the house: Spektre, Kanio, Elia y Olene Kadar.

We could already hear of them as HeadphonesHead (their most eclectic aka) in the first reference of the label in which their track "Madthumbs" was their presentation letter at the beginning of 2007.
After this first release together, they signed separately the remixes of "Sequenced Frame" by Tigerskin; in 2008 they also remixed "Ending" by Ludovic Vendi (Suruba 005) and "Zombies" by Robopimp in the French label Catalytic.
In this 2009 they have remixed Englishmen Spektre twice and soon we will be able to listen to their remixes of "The Bat Eyes" by Moonbeam and "Butchers Dock" by Audioma for V-Label.

Spektre are part of the Suruba family since the release of "88 Mph Ep" (Suruba 004), and from that moment they haven't stopped releasing hits and top10ers i labels such as Great Stuff, Blufin, Dekadent, UFO or Suruba, of course, reaching number 1 at the Techno Chart during several weeks in Beatport.

Kanio is one of the English artists who's having the biggest repercussion in the actual techno scene, and after various remixes in Suruba he has remixed for labels such as Traum, UFO, Yellow Tail and moreover he has funded his own label Novakane Records...

For the digital version, this release counts with 2 more remixes, first one by one the artists closest to the Suruba family, young Elia.

The second is by Dutch Olene Kadar, from whom we could already enjoy of his particular way of understanding electronic music in ref. Suruba 007, and he is also one of the most usual suspects in Mos Ferry label.

En su tercer año de vida, Suruba se sumerge en una nueva aventura, una serie llamada “After the Sun Series” (SATSS). En esta serie, Suruba acojerá a artistas y estilos que se muevan entre Electrónica, Dubstep, Ambient, Breaks, Downtempo, Trip Hop, Chill, Experimental, IDM...

S.A.T.S.S tiene como objetivo dar a conocer otras vertientes artísticas dentro del sello, poner en contacto productores de estilos totalmente diferentes para experimentar y buscar formulas nuevas.

Dentro de esta serie, también se dará cabida a los trabajos más personales de artistas que a veces trabajan el 4X4 pero que quieren ampliar sus horizontes musicales.

La mejor manera de estrenar esta serie, es la publicación del album debut de Metroxylon, una auténtica experiencia sonora tal, que a parte de la publicación de las nueve piezas que lo forman, se publicará también una sesión mezclada de todos los temas, para sumergirse durante los más de 70 minutos de duración del album, en un viaje evocador entre la oscuridad y la luz.

Metroxylon es una nueva etapa en la carrera musical del artista barcelonés Roger Mercader. Su relación con la musica construye una extensa carrera musical, que va desde sus clases de piano y teoría musical a los 10, el principio de la producción “do-it-yourself” al entrar en contacto con su primer ordenador a los 12, hasta gran cantidad de discos publicados en la escena house/techno asi como centenares de dj sets por toda España durante los últimos 8 años.

Una vez Roger se traslada a Berlin en 2008, su música que se basava en el 4x4, evoluciona hacía sonoridades y estructuras mas flexibles. Un poco cansado de la dictadura de la musica floor-to-the-floor y debido a varias vivencias personales y revelaciones espirituales, busca un sentido mas profundo en lo que hace, con el fin de explorar su creatividad sin limitaciones estilisticas o estructurales.

Metroxylon ha encontrado la forma de hacer un salto cuántico en su creatividad y así empezar a usar su musica para sanarse a si mismo a la vez que difundir amor y comprensión con ella. Como Alejandro Jodorowsky suele decir, "El arte no es algo que un artista debería hacer para engrandecer su ego, si no para sanarse y sanar a los demás"

Here comes reference number 18 of the label, which is given birth by the colaboration in studio of French Ludovic Vendi and the label capos, Los Suruba.
One week of work at their headquarters in Madrid these two tech-flavored tracks arrive with a progression that really works great on the dancefloor, tested!

Ludovic Vendi is a French musician living in Berlin who has already published several times in Suruba Records, Suruba Digital; being considered one of the artists of the House with englishmen Spektre, Kanio and Alex Grzybowski and the German master Tigerskin.

The two tracks move themselves between pure tech house and the most eclectic house which reminds to labels such as 2020 Vision, with funk touches that seriously shake the dancefloor.
Beside these 2 tracks, we find 2 remixes, the first one by Madrid-based argentinian producer Rene Sandoval; owner of Frosch Label and Beatmaniacs, and who has remixed artists such as SCSI-9, and whose tracks are played and charted by artists such as Audiojack.
The second remix is authored by Madrid-born VitaminH, who has already released in labels such as Suara, Frosch Label or 13Beats; a young promise to have highly in count in the close future.
